Position Title: Advanced Business Intelligence Developer

Function/Group: Solutions Development(Business Analyst)

Job Overview (Briefly describe the purpose of job in no more than 2-3 sentences.)

RCOE Team in Solutions Development vertical is responsible for execution and publishing/development of the
reports which support and aid in decision making process for various Operational Units and Functions across
different geographies within General Mills. It leverages different reporting tools, industry leading dashboards, Data
Visualizations in the areas of Finance. Supply Chain, Sales functions and C&F vertical too.

Deliver Advanced BI Reporting Solutions & Business Analysis (80%)

 Ability to work independently on Category & Customer analysis projects and leverage BI Reporting tools
(tableau,
excel, Etc.) for storytelling and sharing insights
 Knowledge of consumer & distributor data like Nielsen, IRI, Management Science Associate (MSA), Panel,
Etc.
 Share detailed analysis looking at data through different lenses – Distribution, share, pricing, promotion, market
study, competitive space, etc.
 Provide actionable insights and business recommendations by identifying meaningful customer indicators &
trends
 Master and own the deliverables in the form of excel reports, tableau dashboards & PowerPoint
presentations and
send quality output in a timely manner
 Work alongside of peers and inculcate best practices and elevate the team’s ability to tackle business questions
with value adds
 Demonstrate an analytical bend of mind in all tasks/projects/collaborations
 Design superlative templates, Develop and execute dashboards/ tools in a turn-key scalable format
 Understanding of raw data structures and transform data in required format for conducting analysis/reporting.
 Showcase thought leadership; look for ways to integrate better business solutions
 Strong ability to research and find solutions independently/ community collaboration.

Operational Responsibilities (10%)

 Understand, Analyze & Troubleshoot the reports whenever there are issues.
 Master and own the deliverables in the form of excel reports & tableau dashboards and send quality output
in a
timely manner
 Guarantee data quality and accuracy through thorough comprehension of request, accurate application of
tools/platforms with an eye for detail and a robust data & logic check
 Provide innovative ideas/solutions leveraging Continuous Improvement tools.

C. Innovation & Collaboration (10%)

 Collaborates with business, SM’s and IT team to use best approach in data – gathering, massaging,
representation.
 Communicate effectively (orally and in writing), and interact with the clients, Project Managers, Analysts &
cross
functional stakeholders.

STRONG KNOWLEDGE ON TABLEAU AND ALTERYX IS MUST AS YOU HAVE TO USE THESE TECHNOLOGIES MAJORILY
