I. ANIMAL HUSBANDRY:-Animals domesticated for home companionship are called pets, while those

molluscs,etc.,in various water bodies.
III. PISCICULTURE:-The production and management of fishes only is called Pisciculture.
IV. HATCHERIES:-In fresh water fish culture or fish farm, fish eggs (known as fish seeds) are put in
nurseries called hatcheries.
V. APICULTURE:-The rearing of honeybees to obtain honey and other commercially important product
is called Apiculture.
VI. SERICULTURE:-The rearing of silkworm and production of silk from them is called Sericulture.
VII. POULTRY:-The process of raising domesticated birds such as chicken, ducks, turkeys and geese for
the purpose of obtaining meat or egg for food.
VIII. LIVESTOCK:-The animals that are domesticated for food or work are called livestock.
