EFFECTS ON THE PFD

 All targets (SPD, HDG, ALT) are lost and red flags are displayed

 Altitude alert is lost

 Mach indication is lost

 FMA is lost (except in LAND or GA modes)

 Baro reference reverts to STD

 STD is flashing when below TRANS ALT

 FPV is displayed

 ILS deviation scales are displayed

EFFECTS ON THE ND

 ROSE NAV mode with map at 80 nm range is displayed


(regardless of selected range on the EFIS control panel)

 VOR 1 / DME 1 and ADF 2 pointers are automatically displayed.


On the DDRMI (if installed), VOR and ADF selection is not
affected
 WX RADAR is lost, indicated by “WXR RNG” message. If the
radar image remains displayed, it must be disregarded

OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE

 Continue with raw data for the remainder of the flight

 Use the ISIS to set the actual baro setting

 Do not insert any MDA (MDH) value on the MCDU PERF APPR
page, because the PFD altitude is now referenced to STD (1013)
 Computer reset: Refer to QRH
