1. Identify the value of participating in physical activities.
2. Understand the health benefits of participating in physical activities.
3. Describe the characteristics of a physically active individual.
Readings
Being active every day can help teenagers The following are the common results of physical inactivity:
achieve the following: increased risk of overweight and obesity
hypertension/high blood pressure
improve heart health and fitness anxiety
develop strong muscles depression
develop strong bones type 2 diabetes mellitus
develop good posture
Some points to consider:
maintain a healthy weight
1. Physical activity done at a moderate or vigorous intensity level
