2. Scrutinize the speech style in every video clip
3. Identify the types of speech style
4. Match each situation to fit in with the most appropriate type of speech style

 1. What do you notice in every conversation?
2. Did you notice variety of styles as they communicate?
3. Describe the style of communication in each video.

B. Discussion

Discuss the following types of speech style

1. Intimate
2. Casual
3. Consultative
4. Formal
5. Frozen

C. Generalization
Recap on the Types of Speech Style and its examples.

D. Evaluation
“Match this Scene”

1. Divide the class into 4 groups.

2. Each will pick a color code from 6 colors with 10 situations.
3. Inside those colored cards has situation or scenario.
4. Each group has 20 minutes to match the situation of what is the most appropriate type of
speech style they belong, whether it is an intimate, casual, consultative, formal, or frozen

IV. ASSIGNMENT

Research on Three types of Speech Act and write it in ½ crosswise. In addition, give one example
on each types of Speech Act.
