Regarding: Defects and deficiencies in periodic renewal works from Ch 421 to Ch 380

Dear Sir,

During the routing site visit by the representatives of AE, action defects/ deficiencies were
observed Ch. 421 to Ch. 380 which are as follows:

1. The milling work is in progress at Ch 419+900 (Lekha nagar flyover). During the work it is
observed that milling is not being done till the edges of concrete surface of expansion joints
at flyover
2. Also it has been observed at Flyover that the lateral joints near the expansion joints have
not been matched properly which results in jerks during the vehicular movement &
ultimately affect the riding quality.
3. Also it has been observed that during work execution at flyover, the drain spouts is blocked
by bituminous & milling material.
4. Many times, it has been observed that bituminous and other material is thrown/dumped in
the median or within the ROW of stretch; which is harmful for plantation in said area.

In view of the above you are strictly advised to take proper care for getting the smooth ride and
further instructed to keep proper housekeeping, also strictly advised to clean water spout.

Any delay in work due to non – compliance will be solely attributable to Contractor.
