physical interactions with others.

coming home with immediate
effect.
• Consult your own physician or
attend the nearest fever clinic. The
physician will order for a covid-19

What next do I do if I
test +ve for Covid-19?
If Tested +ve for
Covid-19
• Test report may take 24-48 hrs to come.
• If no information is conveyed by 48 hrs,
test is likely to be -ve
• Inform MC, neighbors, domestic helps
immediately if +ve
• BBMP will contact you ( time lag: 1-3
days)
• Till then:
• Remain in Home Quarantine: Isolate
yourself in a room. Wear a triple layer
mask at all times. All house members
to wear masks indoors.
• Community Quarantine center being
set up

Criteria for Home Quarantine/Community
Centre Quarantine
• Asymptomatic/Mildly symptomatic.
• Age 10-60 years
• No significant existing co-
morbidities ( Diabetes,
Hypertension, Breathing issues etc).
• Separate room with toilet (most
houses in Vista Qualify)
• No elders at home >65 years age.
• Have a dedicated care giver (house
member)

• Only those with elders/co-
morbidities at home may choose
to isolate in a community center
• Persons with Age >60 yrs, Co-
morbidities will have an option to

What do I do if I have come
in contact with a person
who has tested positive for
Covid-19?
If you come in contact with a person who has
tested +ve for covid-19
• If both you and the Covid+ve patient have been wearing
masks, and duration of contact is < 15 min, then you are a low
risk primary contact. No further action is required except for
self monitoring.

• If you have been close (less than 6 ft) , both are wearing masks
and your duration of contact is >15 min, you become a high
risk primary contact, and you have to quarantine yourself for
1 week.
