Alarm and Fault Messages - MICS Telys

1 - Introduction
The tables below will help understand the alarm and/or fault messages that can be displayed on the MICS
Telys screen.
It is understood that if a fault or alarm is displayed on the CB12 interface board, it will not necessarily be
displayed on the CB interface board (example: Fault oil temp.).

Reminders :
- When a fault occurs, the load is immediately removed (in Auto mode only) and the engine shuts down
either immediately or after a time delay, depending on the settings in the Delays menu.
- When an alarm occurs, the engine does not shutdown.
- The selection between alarm or fault can be programmed in the Option menu.
- Any fault will bring the « general fault » LED to a flashing state.
- Any alarm will bring the « general alarm » LED to a flashing state.

Alarm and Fault Messages - MICS Telys

Note : When one of these five messages appears, the engine shutdown results directly from the MDEC.
The MICS Telys simply confirms the situation by requesting a shutdown.

8 - Messages specific to Option 6 Module

Option 6 module is exclusively used for the US and Canadian market and for emergency stand-by
generating sets installed in public places (US standard, NFPA 110 and Canadian standard, CSA C282).
To take into account the operation of option 6 module, no specific message is displayed on the MICS
Telys because the above standards require a LED signal for all alarms and all faults specified in these
standards (see the instructions specific to option 6 module).
