Matters discussed:

 City Councilor Conrado C. Baluran requested that the Office of the City Assesor conducts tax
mapping on Barangays Tamugan and Lamanan to generate tax funds in the subject area.

 Item No. 190 was requested to be reverted back to the Committee Level and requested that
ordinances starting from 1950 to present be reviewed again since there might still be ordinances
that is in need to be amended.

 City Councilor Antoinette Principe – Castrodes discussed matter on Item No. 275 regarding the
letter-complaint against Barangay Kagawad Morato of Buhangin District, Davao City. The
recommendation of the committee is the dismissal of the complaint due to failure of the
complainants to submit a verified a complaint against the erring public official. Thus, it was
requested that Item No. 275 be closed. Closing of Item No. 275 was duly seconded by the
councilors.

 Councilor Principe also discussed Item No. 460 relative to the complaint filed by Romel Gila
against Barangay Kagawad Erick Ortiza of Purok 10, Calinan District for alleged slight physical
injury. In view of the Affidavit of Desistance executed by herein complainant, the Committee of
Ethics recommended closing Item No. 460 pertaining to the alleged physical injury committed by
the erring public official. This recommendation was duly seconded by the city councilors.

 Item No. 812 was also presented. This pertains to proposing an ordinance ensuring participation
of women in special business programs which will support, enforce and protect the rights fo
women in nation building. Included in the proposal is the initiation of a micro-business titled,
“Magnegosyo ta day Program” in Davao City.
