To establish and determine leave applicable to employees in various categories and locations of
the organizations to provide employees with vacation facility and to cater to personal exigencies
and emergencies. u   
         and this facilities is
extended at convenience of the management as not to allowing suffering of work.

This policy covers various kinds of leaves, which shall be applicable to the employees of
Konsole Indya Pvt. Ltd. Prior Leaves should be given to employees to work faster and perfect.
That will increase the accuracy and work of the company.

a

a)| casual leave is not earned by duty and, as such, an employee on casual leave is not treated
absent from duty and his salary is not interrupted. casual leave will be paid with full pay of
employee.
b)| causal leave should be admissible for a period of 6 days in year.
c)| Any holiday intervening during the period of casual leave shall not be counted for the
purpose of limit of 6 days.
d)| causal leave will be due to an employee at the rate of 2 days in 4 months and for broken
period would be calculated pro rata.
e)| causal leave not utilized during any year shall stand lapsed at the end of the year.
f)| causal leave shall not combined with medical leave ,if causal leave is preceded or followed
by medical leave the entire leave taken shall be treated either as medical or causal leave, it
will not be allowed to exceed the maximum period prescribed in respect of medical or causal
leave.

a)| Privileged Leave at cubes media Pvt Ltd will be given maximum up to 6 days in a
year which may be granted to an employee provided his absence from work should
not causes any inconvenience to the company.
b)| If in charge manager is satisfied with the genuineness of the grants on which the leave
is applied for.
c)| If the employee is taking Privileged Leave, he should intimate to the company before
15 days.
d)| Leave application should not reached to HR dept. before only; if it does not reach
then it will be treated as a period without pay.
e)| Privileged Leave should not affect the work environment.
f)| Permanent employees only will get the privileged leaves.
g)| Privileged Leave can be en- cashed.
h)| The unused PL leave shall be allowed to accumulate up to maximum of 3 years i.e.
too on the discretion of management.

a)| Medical Leave will be of 4 days in a year with half pay.


b)| Medical Leave can be taken in case of serious illness employee or his family
members.
c)| Employees should intimate before not less than 2 days before leave begins.

The Half day period should either be the first 4 hours of the last 4 hours of the day & this
will be adjusted towards causal leave or sick leave if your permission is due to health
reasons.

You are entitled to carry forward / encase only 10 days of unutilized leave into the next
year. In the next year you can avail 23+10=33 days of leave .If, in the subsequent year,
you do not utilize all 33 days of leave, You may carry forward /encase only 15days to the
next year.

1) Before Proceeding on leave, the leave period must be approved by the Reporting
Manager/Officer. The approval of the Manager/Officer has to be obtained on the ³u  '  
()which will be given to you Hr. Department.

2) The leave must be sanctioned at least 1 day in advance in case of cL.Prior approval in case of
paid leave; maternity leave or paternity leave must be obtained from the manager in charge.

3) In case of cL, if prior sanction is not possible to obtained, it should be telephonically


confirmed.

4) The duly Sanctioned leave card must be forwarded to the HR department for the purpose of
updating the leave records.
5) Any leave taken in excess of the provisions mentioned in the policy will be treated as leave
without pay. Sanctioning of leave is a matter of mutual convenience. Leave has to be taken in
such amanner that it does not interfere with or negatively affect office work.

6) The above mentioned points are according to Pvt. Ltd. companies Norms.

7) It will be applicable from 16-Nov 2009 till next update on the leave Policy.
