OVER 100 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN
ANIMAL NUTRITION
Royal De Heus was founded
in 1911 and has its roots in the
Netherlands. Up to the 1970’s
De Heus grew autonomously from a
small miller to an important regional
player. Between 1970 and 1980
De Heus became a national player
in feed milling mainly by acquisitions
of Dutch companies. In 1997
De Heus made an important strategic
step in its international ambitions
by acquiring Koudijs. By its export
department Koudijs had extensive
knowledge and experience with
other countries which De Heus could
benefit from. De Heus expanded its
global activities step by step because
there was a strong realization that
every country and every customer
is different. Only by knowing and
fully understanding these differences
De Heus was and still is able to
provide customers with the best
nutritional solution fitted to their
local circumstances. Nowadays
De Heus has for several decades
of international experience and is
present in more than 50 countries.

generations, De Heus is still owned
and managed by the De Heus family.
Therefore we feel strongly involved
with our customers, because they

Royal De Heus has over 35
production locations. This enables
us to produce all nutritional
product groups. From additives
and premixes to concentrates and
complete feeds. In these factories
we can produce nutritional products
for all farm animal species. From
poultry, pigs and cattle to rabbits,
fish, ducks, horses and so on.
