B. demonstrate self-awareness by comparing their characteristics to theoretical and
operational definition;
C. construct operational definition of terms.

II. Subject Matter

III. Procedure
A. Motivation
Do the ‘Draw your Dream House’ activity.

Ask the students to bring any sheet of paper and a pen, then follow the
instructions.

Present to them the interpretation of their drawing.

B. Presentation
Relate the activity to being a detailed and direct person which is a characteristic of
one of the ways of defining terms.

C. Discussion
1. Provide examples of theoretical and operational definition of terms.
2. Let the students differentiate the two based on the given examples.
3. Present ways on how to define terms operationally. Ask the students if the
presented statement is correct or not and let them explain why.

D. Application
Think of how you are going to measure each underlined word in each item. Write
your own operational definition for each.
