Double pointed needles size 4 mm and 4.5 mm
Tension: 19 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in St st using size 4.5 mm needles

Body:
Cast on 192 – 200 – 208 sts using size 4 mm cir-
cular needle with col. ob127 and work 7 cm rib (K2,
P2) in rounds.
Change to size 4.5 mm circular needle and work 1
round in St st – evenly decreasing to 180 – 192 –
204 sts.
Work 2 rounds with ob127 and 1 round with ob117.
Then work pattern from Chart 1.
Work 1 round with ob117. Continue with ob127 until
work measures 34 – 38 – 41 cm.
In next round cast off for armholes: Cast off first 10
– 12 – 14 sts on round, work 80 – 84 – 88 sts, cast
off 10 – 12 – 14 sts and work remaining 80 – 84 –
88 sts.
When there are 62 – 66 – 70 sts on round, work
straight until sleeve measures 42 – 43 – 44 cm.
Now cast off for armhole: Cast off first 5 – 6 – 7 sts
of round, work 52 – 54 – 56 sts, cast off last 5 – 6
– 7 sts.
Yoke:
Now join body and sleeves on same circular needle:
Work 30 – 32 – 34 sts of body, PM, work next 20
sts, PM = one marker on each side of centre 20 sts
on front. Work 30 – 32 – 34 sts of body, PM, then
work sts of one sleeve, PM, then work other half of
body, PM, and finally work sts of other sleeve, PM
(= beginning of round).
There are now 264 – 276 – 288 sts, 4 markers
marking where body and sleeves meet and 2 mark-
ers marking 20 centre sts on front.

Leave work on holder. Then work 1 round with raglan-decs: K first st,
K2tog, work until 3 sts of front remain, K2tog tbl, K2,
Sleeves (both alike): K2tog, work until 3 sts of sleeve remain, K2tog tbl,
Cast on 52 – 56 – 60 sts using size 4 mm double K2, K2tog, work until 3 sts remain on back, K2tog
pointed needles and work 7 cm rib (K2, P2) in tbl, K2, K2tog, work until 3 sts of sleeve remain,
rounds. K2tog tbl, K last st = 8 sts decreased.

Change to size 4.5 mm double pointed needles and Now make the sweater a little higher in back by
work St st in rounds, increasing 1 at beginning and working short rows. Work to 1st marker on front.
