2. The learners obtain first their PMHR (Personal Maximal Heart Rate) and THR (Target
Heart Rate). Here’s how to compute for the THR (Target Heart Rate) at moderate and at
vigorous intensity of physical activity:

220 – age; 220-30 = 190 This is your Maximum Heart Rate (MHR)

 Moderate (40 - 55%): MHR x 0.4 = 190 x 0.4= 76 bpm

MHR x 0.55 = 190 x 0.55= 104.5 bpm

 Vigorous (60 - 85%): MHR x 0.6 = 190 x 0.6= 114 bpm

MHR x 0.85 = 190 x 0.85= 161.5 bpm

1. After computing the target heart rate, learners will perform static stretching and
dynamic stretching warm-up exercises before conducting any other physical activity.

“It is the first time I attend a seminar on an electoral topic and I am very pleased with the good
organization and conduct of this seminar. I acquired knowledge in the electoral field. I was offered a
training using modern interactive educational technologies. I was acquainted with the Regulation on
the Activity of the PEB and what are the competences of the PEB member in working with voter lists,
how the preparations prior to the Election Day are carried out, etc.

After doing the different activities, learners will answer the following guide questions:
1. Compute your PMHR and THR.
1.1. My Maximum Heart Rate (MHR) is: _________ beats per minute
1.1. My Target heart Rate Zone (Moderate to Vigorous) is: _________ beats per
minute
2. How important is taking your THR when participating in a certain physical activity?
3. Why is stretching exercise important in engaging physical activity?

Personally, following this seminar, I will try to contribute to ensuring an environment that enables
correct organization of elections in my settlement,” said Cristina Boldisor, Bolohan village, Orhei
rayon.

“During this seminar, I acquired new information and new experience. All participants
were provided with teaching materials required to conduct the seminar, and the trainers were nice
and explicit. All acquired information was explicit and interesting. During this seminar, I was informed
about the correct procedure related to organization of elections in electoral bureaus and we
analysed unforeseen situations that can come up on Election Day, and including how they could be
solved in an intelligent way.

I am glad about the fact that efficient work is carried out in view of a correct election
organization process. I would like to thank you for the time provided to enrich our knowledge in the
electoral field,” said Ana Pinzari, Bolohan village, Orhei rayon.

“I am satisfied with the information received during this seminar. The trainers
communicated clearly, explicitly, interestingly and with concrete example. I only knew general
information about elections, but today I learned more, namely good organization and conduct of
elections in detail. We outlined also the arrangement of a polling station and the open routing taken
by a voter. I thank you for the provided information,” said Tatiana Ciobanu, Bolohan village, Orhei
rayon.

Sport is all forms of usually competitive physical activity which, through casual

or organized participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills
while providing entertainment to participants, and in some cases, spectators. Sport is
usually governed by a set of rules or customs, which serve to ensure fair competition,
and allow consistent adjudication of the winner. Winning can be determined by physical
events such as scoring goals or crossing a line first. It can also be determined by judges
who are scoring elements of the sporting performance, including objective or subjective
measures such as technical performance or artistic impression. Basketball, volleyball,

To Our Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Florence E. Almaden, CESO VI

To Madam Elizabeth S. Larase SGOD Chief

To our ever supportive and energetic secondary school principal Sir Hermiette Lerog,

To all my fellow teachers, staff, ladies and gentlemen a pleasant afternoon!

The main drive of the Department of Education is to provide access, progress and
quality in all levels of education.

After having attended this two-day webinar, on Digital Conference on LCP cum Webinar
Workshop on Remote Classrooms: Platforms for Online Learning. I would like to
challenge myself this question: Am I willing to accept change? Because progress is
impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change
anything. And if my answer to this question is, “Yes, I am willing to accept change”, well,
then, I can proudly say that today’s generation is in good hands.

Honestly speaking, when we were told that we will be having a WEBINAR, the negative
side of me was murmuring, “INI NA, KUDKUD NA GAJUD, HARUY, MAKAYA BA
KAHA!!!” But the positive side of me reminded myself that I am a teacher. I need to
open my door to changes. I need to free myself from any doubts and complaints and
just let my mind be sprinkled with fresh ideas and knowledge.

And my positive side was not mistaken because with the help of our competent and
knowledgeable facilitators, I have learned a lot of things.
And now, this is it! Ican finally say that We’ve made it! We are able to finish our webinar
with smiles in our faces. But before we will part ways, please allow me to share some of
my insight learnings for this innovative webinar.

I would like to personally thank the amazing facilitators, namely;

Sir. Judiemar Suan, who talked about online learning platforms, like the two applications
Edmodo and Padlet. I learned that Edmodo is an educational website that takes the ideas of
a social network and refines them and makes it appropriate for a classroom, and Padlet is an
online virtual “bulletin” board, where students and teachers can collaborate, reflect, share links
and pictures, in a secure location.

And
Engr. Alwin Ga who taught us about the importance of ICT Integration in lesson
planning, and the use of applications like Schoology and Google Form. In which I
learned that Schoology is a virtual environment for K-12 school and higher education
institutions that allows users to create, manage, and share academic content. I also
learned that Schoology can help teachers contact students with homework and more.
And Google Forms as a tool that allows collecting information from users via a personalized
survey or quiz.

The seminar was well organized in terms of structure, time frames and contents. From
the start to the end, it went smoothly. Though sometimes we have queries and
clarifications as to where to log in or to sign up and what email account to use, lagging
of internet connection as our main problem. We had a hard time exploring the
platforms at the start. But after the speakers explained the process we were able to
follow the procedures. They were very patient and considerate to us. Thank you, sir.
They made sure that everyone follows the progression. That motivates me to become
attentive and participative because I want to learn the technology that my students
deserve to learn today so that when tomorrow comes, they will not come back to me
and ask me why I stole their future. As for the The activities it was very informative and
useful.

This 2-day webinar workshop caters our needs in updating our approaches in teaching,
our skills in classroom management and guidance counseling and a lot more. It is also a
good point that this webinar focuses on integrating online learning in all our lesson that
is really timely to address the needs of our students as well as the demands and
challenges of the 21st century.

This webinar workshop has come to end but the learnings are never-ending. Added
knowledge and the passion for teaching will surely maximize our potentials as educators
as we are one of the important people to shape the minds of our future leaders.
To the organizers and facilitators of this 2-day webinar, thank you so much. I hope that
you will continue helping us to be the best among the rest, not just during trainings but
every time that we feel that we need you and every time you feel that there is a need for
us to be helped by you.

And to my co-participants, thank you so much for your cooperation in making this
training a success!

To everyone, CONGRATULATIONS for a job well done. Thank you and God bless.
