Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?

if I could start my career again I consider that I would seek to have a


network of working contacts to generate some support at professional level

1. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?

I must think more about innovation as this is very important in the


development of work activities

2. Tell me about your last position?


I worked with primary school children in the teaching of English as a second
language, was responsible for the planning and execution of my class,
besides the different activities of the area such as fairs, trainings, meetings
among others

4. What is your work philosophy?

always be honest, responsible and punctual with my activities

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?

I have changed working environment, working with students from different regions
and ages, which has allowed me to develop skills for the process of teaching
them, I was also appointed to work with the state which allows me to generate
certain advances in my career

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.

my best boss was a woman who worked a lot for the school but also had a sense
of humanity very high despite his demand was very good person, friendly,
motivating and always looking for the communal good

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

We managed to hold an excellent English fair, where the students made very
emotional, creative presentations and the parents were very proud to see said
organization and their children speak in another language

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

I want to look for the possibility of being closer to my family as I do not work in the
city and this requires a trip every weekend

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?
this is a constant work, daily one evaluates the work of the day and thinks about
the changes that must be made

10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?
one point is my family as I said before I would like to be closer to them, another
point is that distance involves me a physical wear and an investment of money
also I think the changes are good for everyone
