Corporation) is a division of the Japanese multinational conglomerate Toshiba
which manufactures building transportation system such as elevators and
escalators. The company is based in Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

Tokyo Sky Tree

We have installed four high-speed, large

capacity elevators in TOKYO SKYTREE®
(operated by TOBU TOWER SKYTREE Co., Ltd.
Sumida, Tokyo) which opened on May 22nd
2012. Four shuttle elevators for TEMBO
DECK (350m in height) has capacity of 40
persons with maximum speed of 600m per
minute, the fastest large capacity elevators
in Japan. Also two service elevators have the
longest travel distance in Japan (464.4m).
These shuttle elevators are able to carry
passengers up to TEMBO DECK (350m) in
approximately 50 seconds.
Height of tower: 634m
Facilities: Observatory (First Observatory at
350m and Second Observatory at 450m),
broadcasting facilities, stores, restaurant,
etc.
Grand Front Osaka

GRAND FRONT OSAKA is a

new town space of 4 high-rise
buildings. It has opened in
advance of other facilities in
the location of an old large
train switchyard at the center
of a former freight train
station in the Umekita north
district of JR Osaka Station,
currently the focus of a large-
scale, re-development project.

Izumi Garden Tower

A re-development project in the western area of Roppongi 1-chome, Minato Ward, Tokyo, comprises offices, residences,
and an art museum on a lush, sprawling 2.4 hectares of grounds, making for a culturally-rich and vibrant townscape. At
its core is an attention-grabbing all-glass striking office block named IZUMI GARDEN TOWER. There is a hotel, restaurants
and cafés on the lower levels, and offices on the higher levels. This building boasts a 75-passenger observation-type
shuttle elevator—Japan's largest. On the outside of the building there is also a high-speed exterior observation
elevator—the first of its kind for a high-rise building in Japan.
Shibuya Hikarie

SHIBUYA HIKARIE, a high-rise

complex, has opened at the East
Exit of Shibuya Station and
targets adult consumers. The
complex, connecting directly to
the station, hosts commercial
facilities, a musical theater,
restaurants and offices in its 34
above-ground floors and 4
basement floors. Its round
atrium (Urban Core) stretching
from the 3rd floor of the
basement to the 4th floor
makes access to the surrounding
area easier, and facilitates the
dynamic flow of people.
Sumitomo Fudosan Roppongi Grand Tower

In October 2016, a new 45 storeies landmark

office building in Tokyo "Sumitomo Fudosan
Roppongi Grand Tower",
Toshiba installed four units of Japan's largest
passenger type elevators. The size of the cabin is
3.35m width x 3.15m in depth (approximately
10.55 ㎡） and this elevator can each
accommodate 90 people with maximum
capacity of 5,900kg at the speed of five meters
per seconds.
Abeno Harukas

ABENO HARUKAS is Japan's tallest high-rise complex building at 60-stories and 300 meters, and situated at the
southern entrance to Osaka at Abeno/Tennoji Terminal. It comprises Kintetsu Department store—its main tenant—
offices, a museum, a hotel and an observation deck. The mid-level offices are linked directly with the Kintetsu
Osaka Abenobashi Station in the 1st floor of the basement by a high-speed, large-capacity elevator.
Toranomon Hills

A 52-story, 255.5 meter high-rise complex tower has opened in Toranomon.

The tower comprises offices with the latest features at its center, along with a
hotel, housing and commercial facilities. Directly beneath the tower runs
Loop Line 2 which serves as the trunk road for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. This
is the birth of a symbolic tower for a new age in Toranomon and the heart of
Tokyo—an area of confluence for global companies, cultures and peoples.

A new residential tower has been built on the

waterfront of the marina area in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates (UAE).

The Dubai Marina, with its skyscrapers lining the sea

and its excellent view of Palm Jumeirah, is a popular
sightseeing and residential area in Dubai.
This 335m tall tower, with 86 above-ground floors,
The interior decorations were designed by Italian
fashion brand FENDI CASA, creating opulent living

comprise of 6 key areas, including The Central District, Dubai Design Centre, The Dragon Mart, The Residential District,
Lakes District and the Forbidden City.

Shanghai World Financial Center Toshiba has installed double-deck elevators with adjustable floor height
by ball screws into Shanghai World Financial Center. Elevators are the
arteries of buildings. Application of these elevators has doubled the
transportation capacity with the two storied-cage. Toshiba high-speed,
double deck elevator is the mass transport solution, the means to keep
people moving through high-rise buildings, while also minimizing space
used and enhancing operating efficiency.
Shangri-La Centre, Chengdu

Located in Jinjiang District overlooking the

Jinjiang River, Shangri-La Centre, Chengdu
includes a Grade A office tower, a 5-star
Shangri-La Hotel and a shopping arcade. With
the international standard office tower sits
adjacent to the luxurious hotel, making the
twin building a prominent landmark in
Chengdu.

Nina Tower

Nina Tower is a twin high rise

building in Tsuen Wan. It was
designed to be the world's tallest
tower at 518 m during 1995.

However, height of the tower was

restricted to 318.8m because it's
location is near to the Chep Lap Kok
Airport. This skyscraper has been
awarded for The Best Developer
Awards 2010 - Multi Use Project by
Capital Magazine.
Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong

Located at the waterfront of Victoria

commercial QC-2 Building in the GIFT
campus. 12 of these units have a high
speed of 240 mpm (4 mps).
One Avighna Park

Toshiba India is providing a total of 19

elevator units in project, "One Avighna
Park" having a total building height of 267
meters and proudly stands among the
iconic tall buildings of the metro city,
Mumbai. It has 14 units of high speed
elevators out of which 8 units have a
speed of 360 mpm (6 mps) and 6 units
having a speed of 240 mpm (4mps).
