SYNOPSIS

The project “Civil Desk Controller” is a system which is constructed

for Accel Builders located in R.S Puram,Coimbatore-641 002.

This system mainly focuses to plan and implement actions and

measure to achieve desired or strategic results of the company. Its aim is to
create a culture of continual focus on strategy formulation, measurement,
and revision.

The purpose of the project is to customize the details of the

Construction Company which stores the details of the current houses which
is under construction, maintains the Contractors details, labours details and
calculates the wages for labour and contractors.

The objective is to improve the company performance by reviewing the

work been done in each stage and the measures to achieve the target are
taken accordingly. It is developed in such a way a new module can be
introduced whenever needed without making any changes to the existing
one.

The approach relies on the monitoring the Construction-oriented

metrics, such as quality, customer satisfaction and innovations that can
often reflects company’s economic conditions and growth prospects better.

The project designed and developed using Visual Basic .Net 2005
technology and MS SQL Server 2000 for database creation.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Security is the main feature in the field of organization. Thus it

prevents illegal users from viewing unauthorized information.

The System consists of 10 main modules:

 Billing for Planning

FEW OF THE MODULE DESCRIPTION

User Login/Log out:

In this module the Login/Log out details are stored in this
separate database. Each user is given separate user-id and password for
authenticated security.
Site Master / Supervisor Master /Materials Register/ Agency
Master /Labour Master:
The Concern header details and the detailed description of the details
will be stored in a centralized database.
Entry:
Here the entry made in each date under the name of the site, the
supervisor name which includes the cement details such as opening balance,
received bags, total bags, used bags, transfer bags, closing balance and the
materials received details such as type of materials, number of loads
received , number of loads transfer, agency name and the remarks details
and the labour attendance details such as labour name with designation ,
attendance entry.
Cement Display:
This form is used for filtering the data as per site name . Once the site
name is selected, the concern opening balance, received bags, total bags,
used bags, transfer bags, closing bags, remarks and the supervisor details
will be showed to the user as per date wise.
Materials Display:
This form is used to show the materials details stored in the centralized
database as per several filtrations such as Filter by site name, filter by
material name, filter by agency name, filter by datewise. Once the criteria
selected, the following details will be showed to the user such as Material
name, agency name, number of loads received, number of loads transferred,
remarks of that particular transaction.
Labour Attendance:
Weekly labour attendance will be calculated as per user input as
starting date. The rate for each labour will be calculated as per labour total
days present.
Estimation Model Register
 In this estimation model register, the planners will be allowed to create
a plan chart for each customer and based upon these estimation, the future
process will proceeded.
Billing
The Billing for each customer will be stored in a centralized database.
Each billing for each customer will be put under unique model methods only.
