accommodations are provided for normal residential purposes and include all buildings
designed to provide sleeping accommodations.
Type of Construction- Type III. The proposed residential building will be made up of
masonry and wood construction. The structural elements are strictly made up of materials
in accordance with the Code. In addition, the proposed building will be one-hour fire-
resistive throughout. The Exterior walls shall be of incombustible fire-resistive construction.
b. Hazards of contents and combustible loading including fire scenarios adopted if design is
performance based;
Low Hazard. The proposed building is classified as Low hazard since it is low in
combustibility that no self-propagating fire therein can occur and that consequently, the
only probable danger requiring the use of emergency exits will be from panic, fumes or
smoke or fire from some external source.
c. Occupancy Classification
Group A. The proposed building construction is classified as Group A – Residential, which is
a one-family dwelling with an occupant of not more than 10 persons..
