Target Degrees & Branches BE, B.Tech (IT, ECE, CSE) & MCA
CTC and incentives For MCA Stipend: 15,000/month (As they will be taken as
Interns) After the Final exams they will be on the rolls of
the Company and the CTC will be 2.30/Per annum +
Transport+ Other Benefits e.g. Insurance etc.
For BE, B.Tech, CTC is 2.30 + Transport + Insurance
Coverage
Designation SCS Trainee
The Setup Configuration Specialist (SCS) is responsible for configuring and testing Hewitt's proprietary
Total Benefit Administration™ (TBA) System to meet the needs of client requirements. Configuring
involves using systems and tools to design and set up tables/parameters. The SCS role is to plan and
deploy effective test suites and regimes for benefits program product design and software application
development. An SCS may work on a global/virtual team.
Responsibility Areas
Domain Knowledge:
Systems Configuration:
o Configures the system to meet analysis specifications.
o Documents relevant configuration in analysis specifications.
o Fixes any issues identified via test execution.
Test Plan Execution
o Identifies/creates test participants.
o Performs calculations for expected results as applicable.
o Executes test plan and documents results.
o Document defects when actual results don't meet expected results.
o Execution of unit, integration, acceptance and regression testing.
o Updates automated test scripts as needed.
Issue Resolution and Debugging
o Analyzes and debug issues.
o Utilizes relevant problem-solving resources as needed.
o Escalates issues when appropriate.
Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
Principles of automation testing and some exposure might be desirable
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles/concepts.
Ability to break down a complex problem into smaller, more manageable pieces, and able to
understand and describe the relationships between those pieces (i.e. basic analytical skills).
Apply basic relational database concepts (e.g. table relationships, keys, SQL and DB2 queries
etc).
Troubleshoot basic system defects and errors.
Interpret and understand typical client requirements documentation.
