CKMM - Change Material Price Determination

Functionality

This transaction code is used to change the Material price determination indicator in the
material master. This indicator is 2 or 3. 2 is activity based and 3 is single and multi level
You may need to change the price determination indicator of a material.

Scenario

You may need sometime to change the price determination indicator of a material. It
is used on ad-hoc basis to change:
• Price control: ‘S’ standard’, ‘V’ moving average.
• Price determination: ‘2’ transaction-based, ‘3’ single-level / multilevel.

Requirements

Material Ledger is activated.

Menu Path Accounting → Controlling → Product Cost Controlling →

Actual Costing/Material Ledger → Environment → CKMM -
Material Price Determination
Transaction Code CKMM

1. Double Click on CKMM - Material Price Determination

2. Update the following fields:

Field Name Field Description Values

Material Code identifying a product or component ACT-BCD
Plant Code identifying the operational unit of the company 6000
where the material is manufactured and stored
Price control The price control identifies how the material is valuated S
Old price Specifies how the material price determination should 3

New price Specifies how the material price determination should 2

New price control Indicates the price control used to valuate the stock of a S
material.

3. remove tick <checkbox> Only display unchanged materials

4. Click the Enter button.
