Course Description

The world faces challenges of all sizes and types and, at the same time, these
challenges are the best opportunities to create something new that not only
solves the challenge, but also makes a positive impact in the world.

Traditional organizations have a vision (what they want to become in the

future) and a mission (how they will make their vision true).

Modern organizations also have a purpose (the reason why they exist) on top
of their vision and mission. Purpose describes the way these organizations
envision a better world and provides them a meaningful and powerful path to
operate on that allows them to bring their reach an impact to a higher level. In
fact, the best business opportunities are also the biggest challenges.

However, building a new organization focused on solving an unsolved

challenge (and eventually making a business) is very difficult. Not only because
innovation is always risky and involves uncertainty, but also because building
something new turns people into explorers and most people weren’t trained to
become that. Most of us were educated to avoid failure, to pass exams, to
follow a pre-established path and to design and execute a plan that brings us
to success.

Purpose Launchpad is a meta-methodology with which people to evolve their

mindset to become explorers while evolving early-stage ideas into purpose-
driven, sustainable and eventually exponential organizations that will make the
greatest possible impact.

Developing the right innovative organization, business, product or service that

can make a positive impact is not about technology, it's not even about
applying the right methodology, it’s about the mindset we operate with.
Therefore, Purpose Launchpad is a way to get the right mindset to become a
successful purpose-driven innovator and/or entrepreneur.

However, changing people’s mindset is not an easy task. During the Launchpad
Mentor Certification Program, participants will learn (and unlearn) by doing,
will achieve excellence on the methodology by applying it, failing and getting a
deep understanding of it and its different components, and will finally evolve
their mindset through a long-enough and intensive experience applying the
methodology in real cases.

In addition, participants will learn how to be a great mentor by mentoring real

cases (both outside and inside of the program) and getting direct feedback
about their mentoring style.

Last but not least, participants will also learn how to promote themselves and
build a business (if they want to) around Purpose Launchpad while helping
entrepreneurs and corporates to make a massive impact for the better.

Target Audience

This program is aimed for people who want to build purpose-driven initiatives
to make a massive impact, so it’s recommended for:

Learning outcomes

During this 3-month program, participants will get deep learning in terms of
new knowledge and a transformative experience in terms of mindset that will
allow them to either evolve early-stage initiatives into purpose-driven and
eventually exponential organizations or mentor others to do so.

These are the key learning outcomes that participants will get:

• Deep understanding of the Purpose Launchpad meta-methodology.

• Deep understanding of all the methodologies, frameworks and tools

included in the Launchpad meta-methodology.

• Mindset to become a real explorer (and to help others to do the same),

embracing uncertainty to be able to launch and build disruptive
initiatives to make a massive impact.

• Mentoring skills and good practices to help entrepreneurs and

corporates to evolve early-stage ideas into purpose-driven
organizations.

• Good practices to build a business around Purpose Launchpad, and

eventually to become Master of It.

Program structure

There are four phases during the Launchpad Mentor Certification Program:

• Foundations knowledge, where participants will learn about the

different methodologies, frameworks and tools that compound the
Purpose Launchpad by applying it to case studies.

• Using Launchpad, where participants will group in teams of 4 people to

apply the Purpose Launchpad methodology in a practical case and the
Master instructor will act as the mentor for all. Also, the Master
instructor will still provide further sessions on the methodologies,
frameworks and tools that may be extended based on the real
experience that participants will get during this phase.

• Mentoring Launchpad, where participants will work on an external real

case and will mentor another participant for his/her external real case.
In this phase, participants will get experience as mentors and the Master
instructor will provide them feedback on how they act as mentors.

• Debrief and next steps, where we will close the loop providing a deep
review on the whole methodology and recommendations for next steps
(e.g. how to build a business around Purpose Launchpad, etc.).
