2010 - 2011
 Be on time – start time is 2:45pm
 Finish time - 4:00pm to 4:30pm
 Listen to your coaches and show them respect
 Train at least 3 times each week(lanes 1 – 7) & 2
times each week (lane 8)
 Work to the best of their ability at training
 Swim suit at training

 Be prepared to represent NIST at competitions

 Encourage and support your child. Make them feel good
about being involved in swimming. It is a lifelong activity.
 Please follow correct lines of communication through John
Bellamy as first point of contact.
 Be supportive of the program and the coaches.
 Keep coach up to date with any issues.
 Do not disturb coaches while they are coaching.
 Keep off the pool coaching area during training.
 Support children in their competitions and other swimming
activities.
 Try to keep their lives balanced with things other than just
swimming.
 Support good nutrition.
 Become involved through NIPTA.
