In today’s world there are laws protecting the creations of artists from others

who wants to imitate it and with the advent of digitalization, there are high chances of

creative ideas being stolen by any third party, without any prior permission. Intellectual

Property is a general term used for a set of intangible assets owned by any individual

person or company. An IP asset aims to offer the same protective rights as any other

physical property, because of its ability to provide companies with the same competitive

advantages. It has now become even more important in a web-based environment, as

doing replication of any unique design, logo, or feature is comparatively easier than ever

before. For example, mcdo and mercury has their own logos that cannot be used by

other people, if they wish to do so, they are required to pay for franchise.

By showcasing your original creation it will help to differentiate the goods

and services of your company from the other in the market and to easily promote them

to the target customers. Take for example, Ed sheeran and Taylor Swift, both famous

and known well artist that write and compose their own songs. That made them

standout among the other music artist and became known worldwide. If lives can be

secured by financial assurance of insurance companies, always remember that you

have the right to your intellectual property or any creation of your mind, and it can be

secured too and who knows it might bring more money to you at some point.

Violationg one’s intellectual property rights is equal to doing a crime. Its both

illegal and unjust. It’s stealing other people’s hardwork and passion. That’s why its very

important to be informed about your rights as an individual to your creations. Be

informed and be a Law abiding citizen.
