PRACTICE Assignments:
Delta Math will be assigned at the beginning
of each unit and will be due by 8:00 am the
morning of the unit assessment. Delta Math will
be accepted late but will only be worth 50% of
the grade earned.
Assessments:
• Assessments, both quizzes and tests, will
be taken during virtual class time, and
must be submitted prior to the end of
class in the appropriate format and on
the appropriate platform.
• No late assessment will be accepted
unless previous arrangements have
been made at least 24 hours in
advance.
• You must write legibly! If I cannot read
OR find your answer, it will be marked
wrong.
Absences:
Attendance will be taken in every class, every
day during the live sessions. If you are not
present in the live sessions, you will be marked
absent and your parents will be notified.
In the event that you are absent, it is your
responsibility to find out what you missed (this
includes getting notes, completing practice
problems, checking your solutions, turning in
assignments, and/or making-up assessments).

Portal). If you have questions over the material,
you can email me, text me on remind, or set
up an appointment to attend a virtual help
session.

Extra Help:
Extra help is available during designated
times. You must sign-up at least 24 hours in
advance via the sign-up genius link posted
in CTLS. You must arrive on time, with your
notes, and SPECIFIC questions/problems. I
will be more than happy to help you with
material that you feel you could use
additional assistance on. Please make sure
that you are doing everything you are
supposed to be doing in class before
requesting extra help.
Additional Learning Opportunities:
Unit assessments are broken down into
standards based learning targets. These
learning targets measure a student’s progress
towards mastery of the standards. If a student
performs better on the learning target that
corresponds to a previous quiz grade, that
learning target grade will replace the quiz
grade. This rewards students for their ability to
learn from the mistakes that they have made
on their quiz and encourages mastery of the
standard.
Cell Phone Policy:
• During LIVE sessions with teacher,
students will not use cell phones or
other electronic devices unless
approved by teacher.
• During assessments cell phones will not
be used for any reason.
• Students will not record still or moving
images or voices of students or the
teacher without permission from the
teacher.
Failure to adhere to the cell phone
policy may result in disciplinary
consequences.
