Overview

I have worked with number of employers during my study in Canada. No doubt, during my
study I have less opportunities related to that field where I would like to work. After m
graduation I would like to work in Human resource field. I have applied many Human resource
position in different companies. I believe I will get one of them. if I am talking about my
previous job related to human resource field, I have worked 3 years as assistant HR manager in
one of famous bank in India. My duties were to support the HR manager like, all internal and
external HR related inquiries or requests, schedule meetings, interviews, screens applications.
Supported the manager to develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and
programs. Produces and submitted reports on general HR activity. Helped the HR manager to
train the new employees. I am very interested to do such kind of job because these types of
jobs are helpful to enhance my development and I can learn lot things when meeting with
different type applicants. When doing the interviews chance to understand the thinking of
candidates what and how they are facing the situations. We can get many new ideas to develop
HR policies perfect.

Professional and academics experience

According to my previous experience in my professional and academic learning. Human


Resource management is important in every company. I believe the growth of the company is
depend upon the human resource department, because placing right person at right job is not
east thing. Providing information about company’s policies and procedures, train the
employees and motivate them to retain the employees for long term. It is totally responsibility
of the Human resource department through the different strategies. I simple word we can say
human resource management supporting the employees not regulating. If organization is
changing direction, developing new products, changing mission, vision, or goals, HR must lead
the way with employee programs and processes. In all different situation always human
resource department show their presence for the company’s growth.

Challenges

No doubt, we face challenges in every field, I think, I will face many challenges in next steps.
According to me first important challenge is, nowadays human resource field is getting
popularity among the people day by day. The pool of candidates is very large in this field. To
getting the job which I like to do is somewhere difficult in these days. As applicants increasing is
reducing the vacancies for freshers and it will give tough competition in the further steps.
Another challenge I may face is, maybe I have to move from one place to another for getting
job that I would like to do in human resource field.
Conclusion

Human resource management is very important for every industry for managing the people
who are develop their skills to increase the horizons of company and increase the profitability
level. I have learned lot things from my academic’s study and job which were related to the
human resource field. The role of Human resource management is like the bridge between
employees and employer. Employees who are utilizing their knowledge to increase the
productivity of company and employer who is paying for them but pay according to the
employees is depend on their skills and productivity is decided and managed by the human
resource department. All these activities are full of challenging and growth oriented. I like to do
such job which will be challenging and helpful to develop my skills. I have experience in this
particular field, but I want to enhance my knowledge that’s why I am doing diploma in human
resource management.
