To: Sgt. J. Brantley

From: FTO Deputy L. Hernandez

Please acknowledged this memorandum as a formal confirmation from me reference IPO Deputy
Zachary Camden.

I do believe Deputy Camden to be able to begin his duties as a solo competent deputy. I do not
believe it is necessary for him to continue any further in regards to training with an assigned
Williamson County Sheriff Office - PTO. Deputy Camden has been riding out consistently on our
shift and I have been observing him and overhearing his radio traffic since he began. Commander
S. Deaton directly informed me whenever I believed Deputy Camden was ready to begin shift
work as a solo competent deputy to advise the PTO sergeant for his immediate release. I know
Deputy Camden to also have completed his designated training hours primarily with Deputy
James Johnson. I've completed my written assessments of Deputy Camden from the training
shifts he completed while with me. I shall forward those assessments for review immediately.

Respectfully,
Lorenzo Hernandez

23 Deputy Camden was able to assist me in keeping an over emotionally citizen under control. The citizen
approached us on a traffic contact and was passive-aggressive in his demeanor trying to explain to us what
his issue was at that time. The citizen was believed to be 10-96. Contact was made with the citizen's wife to
escort him back home. No offense.
11 Deputy Camden understands clearly how to utilize CAD mapping systems and district border lines. Deputy
Camden will have to continue improving on his map awareness.
