Measures were at once undertaken by Ron to
correct this condition and to correct every PC over
the world.
The Programme of STANDARD TECH was at
once developed by Ron and pushed into action by
his Sea Org aides.
It is possible for a highly trained polished auditor

correct every case by using exact invariable STAN-
DARD TECH.
The results which have been gotten by auditors

into the first CLASS VIII auditor instructors.

and Advanced Orgs and Academies and HGCs as

AT THE SAME TIME Ron is training up tough
hard-bitten Sea Org officers into Supervisor Class
VIIIs.
These Sea Org officers will begin and teach the
Advanced Org Class VIII Course.
They will also act as world Tech Mission officers
to look into the work of Class VIII.
None being trained will be awarded more trfljUif
Provisional VIII until Sea Org Officers pass on the
Case folders of the org at which time, only if they
are perfect, the auditor becomes a full Class VIII
Auditor.
During the period when students were allowed to
attest instead of being examined, tech slipped.
Now this is being quickly repaired.
Current training is by examination, and auditing
quality is already up in Academies and Saint
Hills.
STANDARD TECH is almost an invention in
itself.
Ron summated the entirety of Scientology only
after 1966.
Recently he completed the work on OT Sections,
although OT VII and OT VIII are not yet released,
the Class VIII Auditor is being trained.
Only an organization as fast and pervasive as the
Sea Org could have caught up and thrown into
action this gigantic programme with such speed.
As soon as Ron could summate the entire subject
from the viewpoint of VIII, it was time to make the
Class VIII Auditor.

Class VIIIs are supervising every case that goes

Where we have made the breakthrough in Scien-
tology and where we have made progress, we have
done so in accomplishing the goals which Man has
had as long as he has been Man. What he has con-
sidered good and what he has considered desirable
in the field of philosophy, we have accomplished
technically. We have now arrived in Scientology
at a point where Man should have been for the last
five thousand years. We have the technology to
handle all the factors of life.
There is one technology and that is Standard
Technology. You are in a very fortunate position
of not having to develop the technology of auditing.
The test of a good auditor is when he has learned
this. He uses the tools he's got and he uses them
very well. The bad auditor doesn't know these
things. He thinks that there are a thousand ways
to audit and that he's got to dream up the thousand
and first one, right in the middle of the session.
We are teaching the right way to audit. We are
teaching Standard Technology.
Today we have all the technical materials. There's
a tremendous amount of understanding involved
here. There are millions of words written on the
subject of auditing technology. If an auditor
realizes how much he knows, at length, he's pretty
staggered. There has never been this technology
before. We are the only group on Earth that has a
workable technology which handles the basic rules
of life itself and brings order out of chaos.
Scientology auditors are dedicated and sincere in
getting this job done. There has never been a more
sincere group on the face of the Earth than those
who are in the ranks of Scientology auditors. We
wouldn't have started on auditing if we weren't good
the first people to appear on Earth since its first
solidification out of nebulous vapourings who can
get the job done and who know what we are doing.
The very truth that we know, its simplicity and
ease of grasp, the very honesty with which we ap-
proach our task, are probably the largest barriers
we have to overcome. Man has been defrauded so
often, persuaded so wrongly, and has returned to
the same old rut so inevitably and in such a de-
feated frame of mind that he is not able to grasp
easily the firm and friendly hand of the auditor
which is being reached out to him.
It will take many more auditors to achieve our
aims but we know what we are doing and we will
do it. We have the technology. We have the
answers.
