Scope
This project was proposed to ensure continuous air traffic control coverage for enroute traffic amongst the
XM countries. It is to establish a safe uninterruptible flow and reduce conflict amongst traffic traversing
the XM Regional control area and will be treated as an Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC).
Area of Coverage
The newly introduced sector will cover the following countries: Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria as
displayed in Figure 1.
Figure 1
Operating Frequencies
There are two assigned frequencies to cover the Sector when active, one identified as Primary and a
back-up frequency is used when a conflict in frequencies is met.
Primary Frequency is: 124.10 MHz (123.550 MHz is not an accepted frequency for ARTCC)

Middle East Regional Air Route Traffic Control Center
Approved controller manning this OXMF_CTR position is responsible to establish two-way contact with
adjacent active sectors CTR-CTR or CTR-APP as traffic mandates these requirements. In addition, all
established Letters of Agreements are in effect and should be honored at all times with no exceptions. All
published IVAO Rules and Regulations should be followed as well. This includes but not limited to
avoiding restricted airspace, establishing a safe enroute path to all IFR traffic and compliance by all IFR
traffic to follow RVSM.
Qualifications
During this evaluation phase and going forward, all interested XM controllers should have a minimum of
an APC rating as a controller and a Private Piot rating. Proper training and evaluation is to be followed in
advance to manning this OXMF_CTR ARTCC position by utilizing approved IVAO training application and
tools.
