Advertising brief

Is the statement of the objectives of an advertising campaign. It is also called the agency brief agreed


between an advertising agency and a client, together with a brief history of the product, idea, and
organization to be advertised.

Is the goal of the campaign. It has three primary objectives: to inform, to persuade, and to remind.
Informative Advertising creates awareness of brands, products, services, and ideas. It announces
new products and programs and can educate people about the attributes and benefits of new or
established products

What factors do you need to consider in terms of campaign feasibility

Community’s perception of the importance of the need for which money is to be raised. Feelings, both
positive and negative, about the organization and its mission. Size of the potential donor base and its
ability to give. Availability of strong campaign leadership and effective volunteers. Internal resources
available for the campaign and the preparedness of the organization to undertake it. External factors
that could influence the outcome of the campaign.

Why is important to consider the consumer response to an ad?

Consumer response is very essential because it can make or break your business.

Where can ethical standards for the Australian advertising industry be found?

The AANA established the self-regulatory system for advertising and marketing communications in 1997
with the release of the AANA Code of Ethics. Since that time, the AANA has developed and introduced
new Codes and amended the existing Codes to keep pace with the rapid changes within the advertising,
marketing and media industry. The Codes are platform and technology neutral and evolve and adapt to
keep pace with changing consumer expectations

their research and just need some gentle assistance to make it further down the sales funnel, putting off
potential consumers by way of spammy advertising and harming your reputation in a way that will
create resentment from your audience, because your messaging doesn’t relate to their needs.

An External Service Provider role typically performs the following tasks:


 Manages service level agreements
 Receives and completes work tasks and purchase orders
 Performs corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance
 Performs special services such as condition and environmental inspections, and
recommendations for remedial action
 Assigns tasks to technicians based onh, technician availability, and technician skills
 Reviews day-to-day and longer term metrics for the team and handles performance that is
outside of the defined thresholds
 Creates reports for completed work

What does the Australian Communications and Media Authority’s Communications Code of ethics

cover?

This Act may be cited as the Australian Communications and Media Authority Act 2005. This Code has
been adopted by the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) as part of advertising and
marketing self regulation. Its object is to ensure that advertisements and other forms of marketing
communications are legal, decent, honest and truthful and that they have been prepared with a sense of
obligation to the consumer and society and a sense of fairness and responsibility to competitors.

Ensure the time allowed in the schedule to meet creative, media and production requirements is
sufficient to achieve the advertising objectives.
