Synopsis
I have more than 17 years of rich experience in the field of teaching, research, running
entrepreneurial ventures and general management. Have undertaken multiple responsibilities
including Academic mentorship, managing a Research Centre, leading a government aided
school, NGO management and managing a small scale enterprise requiring coordination with
Government & Non-Government agencies, driving business strategies and managing profit and
bottom-line.

 Design curriculum, brochure and introduce technology based learning.

 Conduct Board Examination as Centre Coordinator.
 Design workshops for teacher training.
 Frame PTA and other bodies and continuous interaction with parents and students bodies.
 Frame policies to increase the student strength.

Key Responsibilities/Initiatives

 Guided international student in an academic collaborative programs with the Kellogg School of
Management- North Western University. The objective of this program was to pair IMT and
Kellogg students (Buddy) to conduct research to understand key issues and challenges to rural
development in India. Some of the projects guided by me under this programs are : Design a
Business Plan for Implementation of e-Health and m-Health Platforms in India, Impact
Investing scenario in India, Help set up an end-to-end rural contract farming enterprise for
goats, Telemedicine: It's acceptance in rural India., D-Light design's route-to-market with new
partner SREI SAHAJ, Kellogg Project: TERI-DFID Clean Cook Initiative, Formulation of
Investment strategy and giving recommendations for investment in education technology
sector, Mobile based Agro-Services in India. Identification of Gaps & scope of improvements
 Mentored Copenhagen Business School, Denmark students on a STEP program on
Entrepreneurship in India. Under this program a workshop was conducted in which
Entrepreneurs of Delhi NCR region were involved.
 Guided San-Diego Business School Students in STEP program focusing on action research
projects related to Indian business environment. Projects were from diverse areas like finance,
marketing and operations. An important part of these projects were to apply management
theory into practice, to experiment, test the waters and then use this experiential knowledge to
build on an existing platform or create a new one.
 Instrumental in co-creation and implementation of highly appreciated new Doctorate in
Business Administration program ( In collaboration with GEM France)
 Advised and Designed Short Term exchange programs for foreign students in action research
specially in the field of NGOs and Social Enterprises.
 Member Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Program at IMT. Role was to provide the experts
and entrepreneur list in India to be surveyed.
 Ideated the concept of Documentary in Management Research and prepared a documentary on
the livelihood condition of tribal people in Jharkhand.
 Ideated section correspondent concept and implemented successfully at IMT, Ghaziabad

 Worked as Research Fellow under CRICKET (Centre for Rural Innovation and Capacity
Building through Knowledge Management Entrepreneurship and Technology)
 Facilitating interdisciplinary research and knowledge dissemination with a focus on studying
successful rural and community development programs and enabling student immersion in
them.
 Designed and Organized four Focus Group Discussion to identify the scope of Executive PhD
in collaboration with US based University.
 Key accomplishments included developing new project ideas, guiding students, organizing field
visits to rural areas and coordinating with multiple agencies.

efficiency of various RRBs post liberalization using Data Envelopment Analysis
(DEA) approach. It further focuses on the performance of two RRBs in
Himachal Pradesh to understand the problems and prospects relating to
RRBs.

Teaching Experience

 Taught Financial Statement Analysis and Working Capital management to Masters in Finance
& Control Classes at Institute of Management Studies, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla
for the session 1999-2000 & 2000-01. The assignment was under the rules of Research Student
and the pedagogy used was lecture cum demonstration method.
 Entrepreneurship in India to Copenhagen Business School Students at IMT, Ghaziabad.
Pedagogy used for this assignment was presentation and discussion. Some of the modules were
taught in a workshop mode.
