1 Chairperson and Head of Panel’s speech

1.1 Meeting began with the reciting of the Al-fatihah and chaired by En Shahrul Azhan. He welcomed all the
English teachers and thanked them for their presence

2. Activities for Language Month

2.1 All English teachers are informed about the dates for Language month
2.2 The suggested activities are as follows:
a) Jazz chant competition
b) Talentime
c) Public speaking
d) In-class language games
e) Watching English movies
3. Budget and funding
3.1 Teachers are reminded about ‘nota minta’ form that is compulsory to be filled in order for using the panel
money at the co-operative shops
3.2 The Head of Panel explains the right procedure of ‘nota minta’
3.3 Pn Izuani mentioned about the alternatives of photocopying exercises for the students

4. Literature Component
4.1 Teachers are given the latest list of literature components that need to be introduced next year
4.2 The analysis of the new Form 5 novel will be given to all form 5 teachers

1. Chairperson’s Speech

1.1 The chairperson welcomed everyone to the meeting. The meeting started with the recitation of Al Fatihah.
1.2 He thanked all English teachers for working closely together to ensure the success of the activities and
programmes held by the panel.

2. Performance analysis of PKBS 1

2.1 All teachers presented the passing rate of English according to form
2.1 Cik Maisarah proposed to introduce ‘Young Teachers’ of English to help teachers in guiding their peers.

3. Matters arising
3.1 The Head of Panel suggested that ELT club members must be proactive by conducting activities that
require team effort and strategies

4. SAL room
4.1 Cik Ayuni informs the teachers about the need to have timetable to use SAL room
4.2 The teachers are reminded to keep the room clean
