This is with regard to your DO No. \2(7547\/ZO2O-?MF dated 18th

May, 2020 on allocation of an amount of Rs.3,100 crores out of PM-CARES
Fund for fight against COVID-l9. We also acknowledge with thanks
earmarking of an amount of Rs. 2OOO crores for supply of 50,000 ,Made in
lndia'ventilators.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has also ready placed orders for
58850 number of "Made in lndia" ventilators. The details of the companies,
number of ventilators and purchase order value are enclosed.

constitution of Empowered Group mandated for "ensuring availability of

essential medical equipment such as PPE, masks, gloves and ventilators;
production procurement, import and distribution.

We are informing the manufacturers to give a distinct identity to

these ventilators by permanently affixing PM-CARES logo at a prominent
place and include an embedded GpS devise to track their placement and
operation. The HLL and BEL has created a separate bank account for
ventilator purchase as per details as under:-
