1.0 General
1.1 Scope
Specification for SeamlessAustenitic Heat Exchanger Tubes for
ASME Code Stamp Heat Exchangers.

1.2 Code
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME):
Section II Part A, Ferrous Material Specification, 2007 Edition, 2008 addenda.

1.3 Material Specification : SA 213 TP321

1.4 End Use : Tubes

2.0 Specification & Technical Delivery Condition

2.1 Material furnished under this specification shall conform to the applicable requirements of
the current edition of Specification SA 213 and SA1016M.
2.2 Tubes shall be made by the seamless process.
2.3 All tube shall be furnished in the heat treated condition in accordance with
Section 6.3 of this specification.
2.4 The tubes shall conform to the requirements as to chemical composition prescribed in
Table 3 of this specification.
2.5 The Mechanical test requirement shall be as per Section 9 of this specification.
2.6 The tube shall have a hardness not exceeding 192HB/200HV (90 HRB).
2.7 The tubes thickness specified is minim wall
2.8 Surface condition shall be as per Section 13 of this specification.

2.9 The manufacturer or supplier shall furnish a Certified Test Report certifying that the
material was manufactured, sampled, tested, and inspected in accordance with the
Specification, including year date, the Supplementary Requirements (if applicable),
and that the results met the requirements of the Specification and the
Supplementary Requirements (If applicable).
The Certified Test Report shall be dated and clearly identify the organization submitting the
report.
In addition, the Certified test Report shall include the following information and test results
a. Heat Number
b. Heat Analysis
c. Tensile Properties
d. Tension Test Acceptable
e. Flaring Test acceptable
f. Hardness Test Values
g. Width of the gage length, when longitudinal strip tension test specimens are used
h. Hydrostatic test pressure or Nondestructive electric test method
i. Other test results to be reported by the product specification
2.10 Material Mill Certificates shall be in accordance with EN-10204 Type 3.1 (3.1.B).
2.11 In addition to the marking prescribed in Specification A 450M, the marking shall indicate
that the tubing is seamless & hot finished or cold drawn.
2.12 The size, quantity & length of the tubes shall be as per SWI0900009-PRS-06
2.13 The material's supplier shall be from client's vendor list
2.14 Materials shall conform to the requirements of NACE MR-01-75 Latest Edition
