Statement of Purpose

To pursue a challenging career in the field of Mechanical Engineering and be a

valued member in the organization where environment encourages innovation,
learning and creativity.

I aim to utilize my talents and experience to rise and attain superiority in

professional as well as personal development so that I can contribute to the
organization significantly.

As I am from Production and Industrial Engineering which is a combination of

Mechanical Engineering, Management and Computer application. So I feel that apart
from getting knowledge mechanical field I will be able to learn about the
management and application of computer in industries. This branch provides
practical exposure.

Project Undertaken
Use of CNG in DIESEL engines and to study the behavior of variable compression
ratio diesel engine at different-different compression ratios(12-19),by taking
different fuels e.g. mixing of diesel with CNG,bio diesel and other fuels.
Summer and Winter Internships
1.Training program in INDIAN RAILWAYS (electrical shed) in TUGLAKABAD (NEW
DELHI) from 01/06/09 to 26/07/09. It consisted of study of bogies, auxiliary motors,
traction motors, pneumatic valves and overview of electrical locomotives of INDIAN
RAILWAYS.

2.Training of 8 weeks in K.L Engineering and Supra Vessels at

Bharatpur(Rajasthan) from 08/12/09 to 27/01/10.It is mainly on quality control of
various products fabricated in industry.

Technical skills
Design software: AutoCAD, other soft wares like TORA and WITNESS (for
simulation), QSOM, Fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, theory of machines, plant
engineering, Operation management, metal forming and metal cutting.

Participation and achievements

1.Secured All India Rank – 96 in GATE-2010 in Production Engineering.

2.Ranked 3rd in Production and Industrial department.

3. Have helped in organizing the JUNKYARD (INNOVA -08) event in college.

4.Participated in DIATHLON (ROBOTICS) in the annual tech fest of IIT-D

5.Played chess and cricket at district (Bharatpur) level.
