Activity 4:
Aims: -to skim the text and answer the question “What’s the text about?”

Type of interaction:T-SS,SS-T,SS-SS
Team work(4 teams)
Procedure: -T asks the SS to skim the text in teams(the first paragrapf for the first
team,the second paragraph for the second team,the third paragraph for the third team
and the fourth paragraph for the fourth team)
-T asks the SS to read only the subtitles of the paragraph and answer the
question“What’s the text about?”
-T gives them a piece of paper and asks them to write thei answer in one
sentence and then give the paper to her/his team-mate
-SS read the subtitles and the first sentence of each paragraph and give
the paper to their leader to read it
-T corrects them if there’s necessary
Activity 5:
Aims: -to scan the text looking for the key words

Team work(4 teams)
Procedure: -T asks SS to look for the key words of each paragraph in teams,underline
the sentences and then read them
-SS look for the key words underline the sentences and read them

Aims: -to read the text
-to look for unknown words in the dictionary

Procedure:T asks SS to read the text and underline the unknown words
-SS read the text
-T asks them to look for the unknown words in the dictionary and write the
words in their notebooks
- SS translate the unknown words in their notebooks

Aims: -to match key words with items with similar meanings

Procedure:-T gives SS worksheet no.1 and asks them to solve the first exercise”

Procedure:-T gives SS worksheet no.2 and asks them to solve the true/false exercise
-SS solve the exercise
-T asks them to read their answers and corrects them if there’s necessary
-SS corrects the answers using a green pen
Activity 10:Interevaluation
Aims:-to complete an interevaluation chart
