ESSAY. Explain in 100 words or less why you want to run for the position and the key points of your platform.

At first, I was supposed to run for Sec-Gen of my home org Psyche. But then this caught my attention. I
was always interested in PAC and after being part of the core teams for PACstage Pass and PACisama I
got hooked into it. Both of those events aimed to unite PAC. It aimed to form ties between the 4 orgs
and tried its best to do so. And that’s what I want to do, keep the ties between the 4 PAC orgs together
and strengthen it in any way that I can.

III. PLATFORM

1) Main Point:
Visibility of PAC to the members of the 4 PAC orgs

Details:
Recently I have noticed that some members aren’t really familiar with PAC, especially the newbies. They think that
it’s just the category of their org. So they are unaware of the events in PAC. So I plan to help spread the word to the 4
PAC orgs and consistently remind them to disseminate it to the members of their respective orgs. This can be done
through text, e-mail or even personally. Another way is posting on social-networking sites or websites of the 4 PAC
orgs.

2) Main Point:
Unity of the 4 PAC orgs by improving events

Details:
I have been both a participant and a core team member of the two events of PAC that aim to unite its 4 orgs. For the
past two years, I am not that satisfied with what I see. Of course there are still active participants in both events and
the activities are great but more could be done. So if elected, I will personally see to it that the two main events,
PACstage Pass and PACisama, and other future projects, possibly a PAC production, will have a solid foundation
and well-coordinated core team. That way, the participants of the events will be able to enjoy them and get a grasp of
the message that PAC wants to tell them which is, UNITY.

3) Main Point:
Renovation of theatres and assurance of rehearsal venues

Details:
It has always been a dilemma for the 4 PAC orgs searching for rehearsal venues and also there have been
complaints about the facilities of the production venue such as problems with the lighting and sounds or some
equipment may be old. If I am elected, I will continue on raising this concern, especially during the Planning Seminar
and if needed, propose a petition. Hopefully, this concern may be resolved through efforts of planning and discussion.

4) Main Point:
Giving a voice to the members of the 4 PAC orgs

Details:
I think there should be a way for the members to express their concerns about their orgs and PAC in general. This
could be done by creating a group or an account specifically for PAC for them to be able to most messages wherein
they could share their comments and suggestions. We could make a Facebook group or, if they want anonymity, we
could make a Formspring account. I think it’s better to hear their comments and suggestions directly from them rather
than having it passed through word of mouth.
