Job title:-
Air traffic control officer.

Job summary:-
Air traffic controller are the professionals who provide air services for
safe efficient and orderly flow of air traffic, they provide service on both in air and on the
ramp(airport).
They work at one PCAA air traffic control service include aerodrome control
tower, approach control offices, or at area control services.

Duties of atco:-
He need to perform some basic duties give following:-
 Managing aircraft through all aspect of flight.
 Coordinate the movement of air traffic to ensure that planes stay safe.
 Coordinate arrival and departure of planes.
 Monitor and direct the movement of aircraft using radar equipment.
 Alert airport staff in case of any emergency landing.
 Providing basic update to pilot include weather and other necessary information.
 Give clearance to fly a plane.
 Give clearance to land.
 Authorize flight path changes.
 Direct plane to minimize the risk to delay flight.

Atco must know to run these instrument:-

 Satellite navigation system
 Two way radio control system
 Flight progress strips.
These are the some basic control system about which a controller must
know other system include
 Short term conflict alert (STCA).
 Minimum safe altitude alert warning (MSAW).

Working environment:-
Air traffic controller work in control tower, approach
control facilities, or en route center. Many tower and other’s controller’s work near large
airport. En route controller work in secure office building located across the country, which
typically not located at airports.
Approach and departure controller work in Sandi mark room’s. The
aircraft control appear as a small light on the radar screen and a well light room make it
difficult to work and see this light dot.
