DIVISION 1: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1.00 General
1.1 Description of project
This Learning Resource Center Project is a project owned by the government of
Cebu for the Cebuano people situated at N. Bacalso Ave., Cebu City right beside CIT
University. The proposed building is situated in a 20,100 SQ.M. property of the
Government of Cebu.

1.2 Permits, Licenses, Taxes

To be accomplished by the Contractor.
1.3 Temporary Facilities

v. temporary toilet facility
vi. perimeter fence
1.4 Description of Work
It is duty of the contractor to build and construct the proposed facility according
to the specifications and plans indicated in the provided plans and drawing.

All the Structural components of the building are finished in concrete like
foundations, columns, beams, girders, slabs, and not structural components like
walls, canopies, and stairs.

Structural components like foundation reinforcement, column reinforcement,
beam reinforcement, girder reinforcement, slab reinforcement, as well as non-structural
components like railings, window framing, and ceiling framing.

6 wood & plastics

Exterior Wall cladding, bookshelves, tables, shelves, stair steps (wood planks
installed above the interior concrete stairs), railing handles.
7 thermal & moisture control
Exterior Walls, Ground Floor Slab-on-Grade, Restroom Floors.

8 doors & windows

Grand entrance doors and some interior doors are made of tempered glass with
aluminium framing, some interior doors are made of wood with windows, and the Fire
Exit Door made of metal with fire-proofing system for safety precautions.
9 Finishes
All exterior walls are clad in treated wood planks arranged horizontally, and tinted
tempered glass windows with aluminium frame.
