Teaching Personality

Our professor has an engaging personality, from the start of the class sessions up to the
end. She is also very welcoming and addresses our concerns accordingly. I can see that she
is dedicated in teaching and mastered her content lessons.

Teaching Competencies

The professor was able to create an effective learning environment. She sticks to her
learning approach and incorporated the collective and individual feedback from the
students thru activities. She understands and appreciates the diversity but was able to cater
the need of each one of us.

Learnings

My learnings in advance grammar is that not only it is a review for me in English grammar
sentence structures, but I could also make use of such grammar in law school. I get
reminded of the collocations and double negatives which are often present in reading cases.
We were able to review also about the paragraph structure.

Advantages and Disadvantages of online class

One of the advantages of the online classes is that we do it right at the comforts of our
home. Second, are the lesser tuition fees compared to regular summer classes. Furthermore,
less travelling and food expenses too. However, there are disadvantages also like, poor
internet connections, expenses to the internet bills, limited requirements on the part of the
students and that some learning competencies are not suitable for online classes.
Nonetheless, even though I am new to this online classes, I can say that it is effective in such
a time like this.
