Mental Health Statistics

· 1 in 5 Adults suffer from mental illness in the U.S.

· 1 in 25 adults have a serious mental illness that limits 1 or more major life activities

· 1 in 5 young adults, aged 13-18, will experience a mental health disorder in their
lives

With acceptance and understanding, the stigma of mental illness can be lifted. The
neurodiverse community needs resources, love, and respect.
Issues and Goals

symptoms of mental illness.

· Provide resources and free screenings


for others to find the help they need.

· Our team goal is to help individuals and


businesses by offering them the
knowledge and tools needed to find help.
How We Can Help!

· Offer free classes and seminars for


companies and the community.
Platform & Public Education

The WWW.TMHA.org is the primary platform of Trinity Mental Health


Advocates. The website experience is designed to educate the community,
provide information pertaining to mental health issues, care options, and
prevention.
Public Education & Outreach

● TMHA provides free and confidential treatment referral and information to


people dealing with mental health issues.
● The website offers literature published in partnership with leading medical and
mental health professionals.
● TMHA organizes workshops, lectures, support groups and social events in
partnership with local, state, and federal public officials, community leaders, as
well as those affected by mental health issues.
Media Relation Strategy

● TMHA develops and publishes content for www.TMHA.org, Facebook and


Twitter in partnership with cause champions (politicians, celebrities, community
leaders and people affected by mental health issues)
● Target demographics include, adolescents 13 to 18 years of age, employeed
adults 18+ years of age.
Fundraising & Budgeting

● As a non-profit organization for the benefit of the community, TMHA relies on


the generosity of community members.
● Labor Force consist of interns and subject matter experts, and business
professionals all working in unyson and pro bono.
● TMHA accepts donations and federal assistance in the form of grants.

Target Audience
Our primary target audience is young teens/adolescents and businesses. We
believe that businesses are an underserved area of focus in terms of mental
health awareness. Young teens/adolescents are another important area of
focus because they can learn lifelong skills to seek help and learn healthy
coping mechanisms.
