About the College
The Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering was established in the
year 1958 as the first grant-in-aid engineering college in the state of Kerala. Started
with three branches and 120 students, the college now admits more than 700
students in the 8 under graduate programmes. The college also offers post
graduate programmes in various engineering streams. Right from the beginning
the college has been a trend setter in the field of technical education in Kerala by
setting and maintaining very high standards.
About the Course
The FDP deals with the fundamentals of aerospace engineering at the
introductory level with relevance to fluid mechanics and heat transfer. It covers
recent developments associated with aerospace engineering in parallel with
technical discussions. The FDP explores the elements of thermal management in
the battery system of vehicles. It also introduces CFD analysis of flowing gasses
accompanying the anatomy of airplanes and space vehicles.
