INTRODUCTION
The purpose of life is a life of purpose. This statement by Robert Byrne is indeed
true. Living in this world doesn’t start in living and end in dying. It should have a
purpose and this purpose is to have a purpose in life. Life has so much to offer. The world
for that matter is a world of wonders. In its vast boundaries which are filled with different
people, we discover a new entity with extraordinary cultures, unique languages, and
Literature, for an instance, is one of the many products of the interrelation of this
array of entities. It literally means acquaintance with letters but is now generally come to

personality. The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery is one of the many works of
art that shows the different personalities of human being. We are aware that all of us have
our own personalities. We are all unique and therefore we all have our own differences.

The word “ personality” has technical meaning for experts in human behavior. To
them, personality refers to the total person. It is the expression of the total person. It is the
expression of what you are and what you do. It is the core of each individual, the product
of all the responses that are expressed in everyday living in the home, the school, the
playground, the office, the theater, in the street, and in the seclusion of your room. It
includes the things that you say as well as think in the many different situations that
constantly meet.

Literature is literally "acquaintance with letters" as in the first sense given in the Oxford English
Dictionary (from the Latin littera meaning "an individual written character (letter)"). The term has
generally come to identify a collection of texts or works of art, which in Western culture are mainly
prose, both fiction and non-fiction, drama and poetry. In much, if not all of the world, texts can be
oral as well, and include such genres as epic, legend, myth, ballad, plus other forms of oral
poetry, and the folktale.
