Introduction

People travel to have a break from their hectic routine as it provides pleasure,
relaxation of mind and a lot of knowledge. Tourism is an industry popular on a global
level. Many countries have adopted tourism as a major source of income and it has a
major impact on their economy. The industry of tourism suffered on a global scale due to
world economic slowdown in 2008 but finally, it is much better now once again. With the
increasing trend of information technology and users of internet across the world every
one using internet as his primary source to extract information. Tourism industry is one
of those industries which is totally dependent on web/application-based systems which
could provide information for his targeted audience in a first glance. So, this project
provides the facility of real-time information source for the entire world via Internet. As
we know that presenting the soft image of area is totally dependent of genuine online
information sources. The tourism department of Gilgit-Baltistan Government has decided
to develop the web/application-based information infrastructure which could be used to
promote the sustainable tourism in area. This system will ease the efforts of global
tourists to select the right destination for their upcoming and ongoing tours. It also helps
the department to take decisions regarding future projects as well as ongoing trends in
respective areas. Pakistan is a rich in culture, moral values and different colors of life and
it also has a lot of beautiful natural places to visit.

1. Aims and Objectives

1. This system can easily manage directors of all districts on the basis of their roles and
permissions, which provided by system administrator but the secretary can track or
supervise whole system’s functionality. The IT technical team’s prime duty is to manage
or trouble shooting of current system every module.
2. This system also facilitates specific accounts on the basis of department requirements
like.
a. Secretariat
b. Directorate
 3. All the Local, National & International Festivals, Programs, Conferences and exhibitions
will be easily displayable on the Web Portal and following are some main key features
which are mentioned below
a. Live Video streaming.
b. Live chat using WhatsApp and Messenger.

2. Problem Statement

1. Existing system have no any live support/streaming system.

2. The Existing system cannot manage directors of all districts on the basis of their roles and
permissions.

3. This system cannot facilitates specific accounts on the basis of department requirements like.

b. Directorate
