3.1 Engineering

3.1.1 All bus bars shall be marked with normal current 2000A, short time current rating with duration 40KA for 1 sec, at 50 degree & BIL 275/650KV. DEWA Specification 1.5.1.2.2.01 - Clause 6 - Para 7
3.1.2 Provision for future bays as per tender SLD and PPR shall be provided. Tender document Tender SLD and PPR

3.1.3 Current rating for CBs, Disconnectors shall be mentioned (1500A for all feeders , 2000A for bus coupler). Moreover. Actual current rating shall be provided DEWA Specification 1.5.1.2.2.01 - Clause 6 - Para 7
also as per GTP.
3.1.4 Line side earth switches for feeder bays and bus bar earthing switches shall be fault making type. DEWA Specification 1.5.1.2.2.01 - Clause 11
3.1.5 All earthing switches shall have isolating facility for primary injection purpose. DEWA Specification 1.5.1.2.2.01 - Clause 9.2.3 and 4 - Para 69 and
