Childhood and adulthood constitute, with adolescence, the three great stages of a

man's life. These periods are moments of learning and constant initiation into life. Childhood

and adulthood are opposite periods not only because they are respectively the first and the last

stage, but also because the realities they incumbent are totally different. However, similarities

are noted between these two periods and deserve to be notified. So, to understand the

connection between these two, we must consider: socialization, finances and responsibilities.

First, let's talk about socialization. At this level, child can make friends easily than an

adult can. A child discovers the world around him and is curious. He comes closer to those

around him just to find out and learn from them, he has no negative feeling in carrying out

this approach, he fears nothing. An adult, for example, has difficulty making friends because

he has had friendly experiences, good and bad, and tends to close on himself to avoid

conflicts knowing that the world is made of both good and bad people. However, at these
stages, the child and the adult understand the importance of friendship and try to keep good

relationship with others.

Then talking about the finance point, children do not have to worry about money but

adults care about it. This is explained by the fact that in adulthood we are aware that we need

money to take care of ourselves and that this money can only be obtained through work which

is not the case of the child because he gets, without real efforts, money from his parents. One

thing certain is that at these two moments in life, people have learned that money is valuable

and that it is a somewhat indispensable resource for obtaining certain things.

Finally, for responsibilities, the adult is responsible for his actions and the child not. In

fact, during childhood, the child is responsible for nothing. It is the parents who are

responsible for all the actions that he commits, the decisions he makes. The place where he

wants to go, clothes he wants to wear, things he wants to do, everything is controlled by the

parents. If the child does bad things, it will be the parents who will answer for his actions

because it will consider that they did not give the good moral education to their child. And

they themselves will teach the child to learn from his mistakes. During this time, as an adult,

the person is in contrast responsible for all his actions and decisions. Whether positive or

negative, the adult assumes full responsibility as he is considered to be dependent on himself.

During this level, both child and even the adult learn and will continue to learn from their

mistakes in order to become good people in the eyes of those around them
To conclude, although childhood and adulthood differ in terms of responsibility,

socialization and finances, the fact remains that, in both these periods, the child and the adult

continue to learn, to discover and to enrich the person they embody. In view of this it is

appropriate to spend these moments alongside those we love to make these experiences

pleasant and unforgettable moments. Just enjoy and cherish those moments because they will

not come back!
