Low Voltage Cable:
1. Perform continuity test to ensure correct cable connection.
2. Perform insulation resistance test on each conductor with respect to ground
and adjacent conductor. Apply potential shall be 1000VDC for 600V cable.
Test duration should be 1 minute.
Work Method
(Specifying methods of Medium Voltage Cable:
working, tools, materials
and equipment utilized) 1. Perform shield continuity test in each cable.
2. Perform insulation resistance test on each conductor with respect to ground
and adjacent conductor and shields grounded. Apply voltage in accordance
with manufacturer’s data. In the absence of manufacturers’ published data
use NETA table 100.1

Emergency FIRE – Fire extinguisher should be available all the time.
Procedures In case of fire implement:
• Pull the pin.
• Aim the extinguisher at the base of the fire.
• Squeeze the handle.
• Sweep the extinguisher from side to side.
And
• Remove anyone from immediate danger
• Activate the building fire alarm system and call 911
