How to become a Nurse Specialist in Germany („Ausbildung zum/r

Pflegefachmann/frau“) and other courses for training, studying and


further studies

Personal requirements

● minimum of 12 years in school (must be equivalent to German education


system)
● minimum of 3 weeks internship in a medical / nursing facility in home country
● minimum of B1 german skills
● measles vaccination

Required Documents

● detailed CV in english or german with photo (please use:

● Motivation letter in german
● Copy of the original school certificate in German or English
● Language (if the original certificate is written in another language, appropriate
translation must be done)
● Copy of the passport
● Copy of the B1/B2 certificate
● Certificate of the internship in nursing
● Copy of the vaccination card
● approx. 2-3-minute motivational video (Why am I interested to live and work in
Germany and specially in nursing? What experience do I have in nursing? etc.)

Trainees could come to Germany with a B1 German language certificate and learn a B2
German level course in Germany or enroll in Lint’s online German courses.

The 6-months B2 german course including the placement by the employer costs
2.500,00€.

This 2,500€ can be paid in advance via bank transfer to Cognos AG or upon arrival in
Germany for 417€ monthly.
In addition to 2,500€ is the amount of​ one month salary ​(depending on the contract)
payable to Lint Consulting UG for its services (school placement, visa assistance) via
bank transfer after receiving admission from Cognos AG.

The accommodation costs around 250€ in a shared flat.

They need to show 995€ per month (995x6 months) in their bank accounts to apply for
the ​Visa for dual vocational training in Germany with previous language course
(Visum zur dualen Berufsausbildung in Deutschland mit vorherigem Sprachkurs).

This money is proof that they can pay for their rent, transportation ticket, translation of
some documents for the vocational training, internet, telephone and food.

Once they finish and pass the B2 language exam. They can start with their training and
start working in elderly home facilities.

The elderly home facilities’ monthly salary looks as follows:


1​st​ year of training monthly 1.140,69 €
2​nd​ year of training monthly 1.202,07 €
3d year of training monthly 1.303,38 €

Some elderly care homes pay more but it’s just their own initiative and can not be
guaranteed.

The possible elderly care facilities are located in Berlin, Hannover, Weyhe, Herten,
Recklinghausen, Gelsenkirchen, Lippstadt, Herford, Löhne, Bad Oeynhausen,
Nienburg, Verden Stolzenau and many others.

Once they finish the 3 years Training as Nurse Specialist, the salary starts at 1,900€.

For those coming ​with B2 language certificates​, they will apply for ​visa for
vocational training ​(Antrag auf ein Visum für die Berufsausbildung).

The service fee for those coming with B2 language certificate is the amount of​ one
month salary ​(depending on the contract) payable to Lint Consulting (school
placement, visa assistance) via bank transfer after receiving admission from Cognos
AG.

location and subject. If you then choose what you are interested in, then concrete
explanations for the information (how long it takes, where it takes place, what are the

as videos about the respective profession will be shown. For example, ​generalist
training as a nursing specialist​ or ​training for physiotherapist​.
