FORMAT:
18 hole, shotgun start, four person scramble tournament open to registered teams of four
and open to placed teams of four by tournament coordinators using A-B-C-D format. The
general guideline for each rank is 0 to 10 is an A, 11 through 15 is a B, 16 for 24 is a C, and
25 and above is a D. Tournament Coordinators will try to honor all placement requests to
keep individuals, pairs, or threesomes together as they wish. Payout in pro-shop credit or
cash will be awarded to the first place and second place teams. If two or more teams tie for
the lowest aggregate score, the first and second place award will be split evenly across all
teams with lowest aggregate score.
RULES:
1. A scramble means that all four team members tee off on each hole and then decide
which tee shot they like the best.
2. The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no
closer to the hole) of the chosen tee shot.
3. This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole, including
putts. The ball should be marked on the putting green.
4. Putts need to be made within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The
first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score.
5. If the ball you choose to play is in the rough, a hazard (sand, water, etc.), or out of
bounds, you can not drop the ball outside of the hazard or rough even if relief is
within one club length away.
6. Each team must use minimum two tee shots per player, and track on score card.
7. Men tee off from the blue tees and women from the red tees.
GOLF ETIQUETTE:
1. Please rake all marks made in Sand Bunkers and fix your divots.
2. Leave the putting green as soon as you have holed. We need to do our best in
keeping this tournament moving!
3. Do not play until the players in front of you are out of range. Some par fours and
fives have blind landing areas.
4. Please observe all local course rules.
5. Of course, Cold Beverages will be provided- Please be safe and responsible!
GAMES:
Closest to the Pin): Hole 17 If your tee shot is closest to the Pin/Hole, measure with
measuring tape and write your name on the marker card at the green, leaving sign in place
of closest shot.
Longest Drive: Hole 16 If your drive (the one your team is using for the hole) is the
longest, write your name on the marker card and place the marker in the ground on the spot
where your ball lays. Once the marker has been placed in the ground, it should stay there
until someone else makes a drive longer than yours. Then, that person should repeat the
procedure of writing their name on the card below the other name(s) and place the marker at
the spot. Only drives in the fairway count for long drive contest.
