Tihomir Titschko and Chessboxing

In the period 2003/4 he was invited by the World Chess Boxing
Organisation (WCBO),[28][29] as result of this he became the FIDE Master Tihomir Dovramadjiev -
champion of the first European Chess Boxing Championship in the First European Chess Boxing
October 2005. [30] Titschko defeated Andreas Schneider (Germany) Champion / WCBO, Berlin, Germany,
1 October 2005, awarded by WCBO
in the event.[14][31] The event was covered by a number of world
and the President and founder of the
media as Eurosport [32], CNN [33][34][35], Los Angeles TImes [36],
WCBO Mr. Iepe Rubingh
Die WELT [37], ChessBase [38] and other. A detailed video report is
presented by German television RBB. [39][40] The sport of chess
boxing, which combines chess and boxing, was created by the Dutchman Iepe Rubingh.[41][42][43] According
to the rules, rounds of chess must be turned with rounds of boxing [44] (11 rounds in total / 6 chess and 5
boxing). [45][46][47][48] The first World ChessBoxing Championship was held in 2003 in Amsterdam [49][50],
and the first European Championship was held in Berlin (Germany) on 1 October 2005. [51][52] Chessboxing
is based on a concept [53], officially defined by WCBO, as a combination of classic intellectual chess sport
with classic fighting boxing sport in combination, which requires good intellectual and physical training.
WCBO activity is under the motto of the ancient vision of a healthy mind in a healthy body (the Latin sentence
Mens sana in corpore sano). WCBO characterizes Chessboxing by definition "Fighting is done in the ring and
wars are waged on the board". [54][55] Currently, the sport of ChessBoxing is actively developing [56][57][58],
competitions are held, and federations are officially registered in a number of countries such as: China [59],
Costa Rica [60], Czech Republic [61], Finland [62], France [63] [64][65][66][67][68], Germany[69][70], Great
Britain[71], India[72][73][74] [75][76], Iran [77], Italy[78][79], Madagascar [80], Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines
[81], Russia [82][83], South Africa [84], Spain, Turkey [85][86], Ukraine [87], USA [88][89][90][91][92][93], and

other [94]. In parallel with the growth of the sport of ChessBoxing, it has become of interest to science, where
the object of study is to increase the physical and psychological characteristics of athletes and adolescents by
applying new methods to increase human biomechanical and intellectual capabilities
[95][96][97][98][99][100][101][102][103][104][105][106][107].
