Dear UG First Year Admitted Students,

Greetings!!!

TIET welcomes you aboard on this life changing journey that you are about to experience.

TIET understands that you may have many doubts and queries about your academic schedule and college
life. Keeping this in mind, we welcome you to attend the Orientation Day starting from 14th September, 2020.
The primary agenda of the Orientation Day is to introduce you to various processes followed for a smooth
conduction of online classes and your college life. The Director, the Deputy Director, the Dean of Student
Affairs and the Dean of Academic Affairs with other prominent members of the administration will address
your queries. You are advised to duly attend all faculty lectures as they will be your window into a smooth life
at TIET.

FROSHWEEK a student society at TIET, has been organizing several activities and events for the freshers
every year and this year also FROSH has planned a plethora of activities, guest lectures and workshops for
your constructive recreation. Everything might be online this time but the fun and experience will surely
remain the same.

The Institute has created login id and password to access Thapar’s Learning Management System (LMS).
Upon log in, you’ll be able to access the Learning Management System. All your links to online classes and
assignments will be provided to you through LMS. The FROSH team would also contact you through your
LMS. The details instructions about TIET-LMS login, password and access details are sent to you through
your email.
